Lou is a married father of three whose oldest daughter is autistic. He runs an autism blog called "Lou's Land" that is about raising an autistic child from the father's point of view, but also touches on subjects that are important to the autism community.
In 2011 Lou was awarded the Speak Out Award by Autism Speaks for "Fixing" Autism, a video made in response to his frustration with his insurance provider and desire to fix the system.
Lou's Land is syndicated on Autisable.com and Lou also writes from time to time for The Huffington Post.
